Accessibility policy for the Valtiolle.fi website

This accessibility policy was created on 15 September 2020 and applies to the www.valtiolle.fi website, which is the responsibility of The Finnish Government Shared Services Centre for Finance and HR (Palkeet).

The Finnish Government Shared Services Centre for Finance and HR strives to ensure the accessibility of the website in accordance with the Act on the Provision of Digital Services (306/2019) and the EU Accessibility Directive.

The accessibility of the website has been evaluated by a third-party expert organisation.

Conformity

The www.valtiolle.fi website primarily adheres to the level A and AA requirements presented in Section 2.1 of the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG).

Non-accessible content

The law states that video and audio recordings published before 23 September 2020 do not need to be made accessible or removed from the website retroactively.

There may be some deficiencies with the availability of the videos of various agencies. The videos come from external services where each respective agency is responsible for the management and publication of the video content.

With job listings, the language of the user interface and the listing itself may vary. The natural language of the elements presented in various languages cannot be determined in a programmatic manner, which does not meet the WCAG 2.1 criterion 3.1.2. Each recruiting agency is responsible for the content and language versions of their own listings.

We train our staff to produce the service in an accessible manner and constantly monitor the accessibility of the website.
