Anu Huuskonen


Anu works as a cataloger. In addition she works in interlibrary loan services as a customer service representative. These tasks include both lending and shelving printed materials and scanning articles for customers.

Working as a library assistant requires proper library education. Good it-skills and ability to use various library programs is necessary. Customer service skills are also needed as well as tolerating routines and problem solving skills. An accurate way of working and ability to follow rules are mandatory requirements.

At first Anu came to work in National Repository Library as a student trainee. After graduating she first worked as a deputy assistant and eventually she got a permanent post.

Anu enjoys working with diverse material, which offers challenges and new experiences. Also good working team, flexible working hours and opportunity to work both in cataloging and customer services motivates her.

Anu welcomes new National Repository Library employees to work as an open-minded attitude and ready to carry out different tasks.
