The Parliament of Finland

The Parliament of Finland is the workplace of 200 Members of Parliament (MPs), who are elected every four years. Parliament enacts legislation, approves the state budget, ratifies international treaties and oversees the Government. Parliament plays a strong role in matters related to the EU. Moreover, Members of Parliament participate in the activities of international cooperation bodies.
